Meet Dr. Farris Fahmy

Dr. Fahmy is the medical director at Aster OBGYN, PC. He completed his OB/GYN residency training in 2001 at New York Medical College, Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers.

He specializes in obstetrical/gynecological care and surgery. His clinical areas of interest include abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, cysts, abnormal paps, family planning, prenatal care and delivery.

Dr. Fahmy performs an array of minimally invasive surgeries in the office using local anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Some of the most common procedures performed in the office include treatment of miscarriage, LEEP procedures, hysteroscopies, endometrial ablations and hysteroscopic tubal ligations.

Dr. Fahmy is committed to offering the highest level of medical care in a setting that is both beautiful and safe. His office based surgery facility is accredited as Class C-M by AAAASF, the "Gold Standard" of accrediting agencies.

Dr. Farris Fahmy is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
